@ TTL Party Chat Ep #012:Destiny
I can understand Turcotte's viewpoint about three months being ideal for DLC releases but, in terms of VoG there were a lot of bugs, and there were even a few in CE that could've been sorted out but weren't prior to release. Depending on how extensive House of Wolves'
storyline is, the second expansion might be bigger than the first given only three planets (and the Moon) in the system are viable locations in the current build, and there is a chance The Reef will be a playable area. I doubt very much Warlock armor is going to get any better, but it takes lots of time to build playtest and balance new weapons and gameplay experiences, so I think some lessons have been learned from The Dark Below

I managed to play two days of BFH and the driving mechanics are still a little crap for ground vehicles, though we haven't really seen all of the transport capabilities in the game; i.e., there might be boats. However, I agree that building mehcanics (in the Beta, at least) killed the illusion. There was also a bug encountered the first day where one of the player models was invisible, so naturally I couldn't kill them every time they got the chance.
Sadly I didn't have time to play Heist or Rescue, but elements of Hotwire and Large Conquest were cool. In terms of the wow factor, the truth is BFH is in its early stages because we haven't seen the full release, though it feels like a spiritual successor to NFS Most Wanted, only with foot-based and aerial gameplay.
